You’ll find Halfway House Touring nestled just outside Louth, Lincolnshire, on Manby Road — the perfect base for exploring the Lincolnshire Wolds, coast, and countryside.

Our peaceful little site offers easy access from the main road while still giving you that tucked-away, countryside feel. Whether you’re heading into town for supplies, off to the coast for a beach day, or just relaxing on-site with a drink from the Little Horsebox Bar, everything’s right on your doorstep.

Louth town centre

Just a short drive (or a nice walk on a sunny day) takes you into Louth, often called the Capital of the Wolds. This lovely market town is full of independent shops, cafés, and traditional pubs. Don’t miss the famous St James’ Church spire, the weekly markets, or a treat from Dales & Sons Butchers or The Cheese Shop — both local favourites!

Mablethorpe

Head east for some classic seaside fun at Mablethorpe. With long sandy beaches, colourful beach huts, arcades, and fish & chips galore, it’s the perfect day out for families. There’s also a seal sanctuary nearby and plenty of dog-friendly stretches if you’re bringing your four-legged friend.

Donna Nook

One of Lincolnshire’s most magical winter sights! Each year between October and December, hundreds of grey seals come ashore to give birth at Donna Nook Nature Reserve. Viewing platforms make it easy to watch them safely — an unforgettable experience just a short drive from the site.
